Unfriendly staff.
Rooms weren't ready (after check-in time). Cleanliness was VERY POOR. Toilet ran through the night. AWFUL shower. VERY DIRTY.

The manager was fair, friendly, and made sure that my credit card got credited for my checking out early.
The lobby had a funky smell to it, which extended into the breakfast room.

Location was perfect; desk help excellent.
Seemed a little dated; too much noise from other patrons; priced too high for what we received.
The hotel is really a motel (outside access to each room), built in the 60's, so dated. Fairly well maintained and clean, though. The service was excellent. Its location was perfect -- close to KC State University. Some of the patrons' kids were too noisy early (6:00 am), but overall, a very good stay. ...read more

They tried to charge me for two rooms.
The hotel was loud with people who were coming back from the night out. It was a little dirty as well.
